Guts + Microscopy
My key interest is in unravelling the neural networks that control gut function and how these are established in development. With an inclination towards the arts, I also enjoy creating science-inspired graphics that spark curiosity.

About Me
I am a postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven, Belgium, with a keen curiosity in neuroanatomy and intestinal digestive function. I completed a MSc and PhD studying the Enteric Nervous System (ENS; the nervous system of the gut) at the University of Melbourne, Australia.
Dissemination of research findings forms an important part of science and visual communication can be a powerful tool to convey complex ideas. While I find drawing to be a cathartic creative outlet outside of research, I also enjoy exploring different ways of marrying my art and my science.
